The song was inspired by the composer’s own experience of raising a child as part of a couple. One day, while in the laundry room, the composer’s thoughts drifted to single mothers and the challenges they face. Out of that moment of reflection came this song, an offering of gratitude and encouragement. To all single mothers, Jesus loves you, and so do we. Hold on, hold strong.
