Apps worth 1000$
There are thousands of apps that are bullshit and have nothing to be paid for yet they are worth a fortune and the funny thing is that they have 50k+ downloads on them. Who buys such apps, well, of course, rich people. There is an app on the iOS app store, called 'I'm Rich' The sole purpose of this app is to show others that they can afford it. Brilliant.
House in every city they visit
You don't really need a house in every city you visit on a regular basis, and it can't be justified by claiming you make more money with a real estate portfolio. If that were the case, you should invest in commercial properties where others pay you to rent and maintain the property for you. All you're doing with multiple houses are paying extra mortgages or rental fees, maintenance, and property tax.
Personal bathing tub for the dog with diamonds on it
Well, the dog must have demanded it. Otherwise, why would they buy that? Actually, I forgot, they are rich people so they can buy anything, I'm not surprised.
Expensive Yachts and boats
What's the point of buying boats if you are only gonna use it once a year, hardly. Unless sailing is your passion, purchasing a large boat is a bad investment. Some millionaires never even use their yachts because they are too preoccupied with other aspects of their lives. This translates to additional costs for storing the yacht and hiring a crew to maintain it. At the thought of this stupid purchase, you can almost smell burning bills.
Buying an entire island
No millionaire wants to live on an island; it just sounds cool to tell people you have your own island. It, like the other items on this list, is a status purchase rather than a practical way to spend your money. Many islands cannot be developed or would be prohibitively expensive to do so. An island is a bad investment unless you intend to turn it into a resort to generate revenue.
Vey expansive sport cars
All I see is a Ferrari or Lamborghini, that can go 0-100kmph in less than 5 seconds, stuck in red lights or being ride at the speed of 50-80kmph. Alright, they are getting attention, but is this the attention they really want? If someone asks me, 'want to see how fast it can go?' My answer will always NO. I don't trust them nor they trust themselves. Unless you are a professional driver, there is no sense in buying an expansive fast sports car. The worst thing they do is to buy such cars for their children who are barely legally aged. Even if they are 18, they are still developing their brain and still lack judgment especially if they have to make a fast one.
Over expansive daily use stuff
Ok, this one is special. There are people who buy a diamond tea bag worth 1500$, a crystal ergoripado vacuum cleaner worth 19000$, A gold shirt worth 200,000$. Well, I can think of 100 different and better ways they can spend that kind of money.
